Privileges:
- Free tuition and miscellaneous fees
- Monthly stipend for 10 months
- Book allowance per semester
- Clothing allowance per school year
Qualifications:
- Must be a high school graduate or a qualified candidate for graduation
- Must belong to the top 10% of the graduating class of at least 35 students
- Must obtain a general academic average of 85% or higher
- Must be of good moral character as certified by the high school principal
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must pass the qualifying examination and interview given by the
Scholarship Committee
ENTRANCE / HONOR GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
Financial assistance for deserving high school and college graduates
- Valedictorians:
entitled to free tuition and miscellaneous fees for one school year
provided they carry the full semestral load and do not drop or fail any
subject.
- Salutatorians:
granted 50% discount on tuition fees for one school year, provided they
carry full semestral load and do not drop or fail any subjects.
- First Honorable Mention:
entitled to 50% discount on tuition fees for one semester, provided
they carry the full semestral load and do not drop or fail any subject.
- Baccalaureate Honor Graduates (summa cum laude, magna
sum laude and cum laude)
entitled to free tuition fees for one semester in the College of Law or
the Graduate School.
- Editors-In-Chief
granted 50% discount on
tuition fees for one semester, provided they carry the full semestral load and
do not drop of fail any subject.
Qualifications:
- Certification of honors or Editor-in-Chief position by the school
Principal, Guidance Counselor, Dean or Registrar stating the total number of
students in the applicant's graduating class.
- Required number of graduates for Valedictorians and Salutatorians is 40
and above; for First Honorable Mention, 101 and above.
RESIDENT SCHOLARSHIP
Financial assistance to Lyceum students who qualify based on academic performance in the previous semester.
Privileges:
- Full scholars are granted free tuition.
- Partial scholars are granted 50% discount on tuition.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled with at least a semester's residency
- (Full Scholarship)
- 1.5 grade point average (GPA) and no final grade lower than 1.75 in
all subjects taken during the immediately preceeding semester.
- (Partial Scholarship)
- 1.75 grade point average (GPA) and no final grade lower than 2.0 in
all subjects taken during the immediately preceeding semester.
- Must pass the NSTP during the semester
REGINA P. LAUREL SCHOLARSHIP IN ACCOUNTANCY
Established in memory of Regina Perez Laurel, former Comptroller of the
Lyceum of the Philippines University. One scholarship is available starting
every second semester of each school year to a qualified freshman majoring in
Accountancy.
Privileges:
- Monthly stipend
- Book allowance
Qualifications:
- Belong to top 5% of successful examinees in the Accounting qualifying exams
- Pass the required interview
- Be enrolled in at least 18 academic units per semester or as indicated in the degree's curriculum
- Final grade not lower than 2.0 in Accounting subject.
- A semestral general weighted average of at least 2.0, with no failing grade in any other subject.
KANAGAE - IFUGAO SCHOLARSHIP
A private endowment established by Seitaro Kanagae in gratitude for the
humane treatment he received from Ifugao residents during World War II. This
scholarship is awarded to Ifugao residents every school year.
Privileges:
- Free tuition fee and miscellaneous fees
- Book allowance
- Stipend/living allowance for 10 months
- Clothing allowance/semester
- Transportation allowance/semester
Qualifications:
- A resident of Ifugao Province and a Filipino citizen
- Belong to the top 10% of the school graduating class
- Must pass the written examination and the oral interview by the Scholarship Committee
